Cafe Velo is a lovely coffee shop in Bellingham and I really enjoyed my visit. The staff was super kind and helpful and very friendly during our visit. Although I'm not interested in biking, the velo atmosphere was fun. The place feels comforting and they have the cutest fresh flowers decorating the space. I'm very happy with the latte I ordered and I hope to visit again soon!!
They did a good job tuning up our bikes. But even more than that they were knowledgeable and took their time with us. My son has had several flat tires and they asked questions to figure out why and then explained how we could help prevent so many of them. Great place
Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Bellingham....French style establishment so no drip coffee but whole milk as the fall back means awesome lattes...just a few baked goods from a place down the street but fresh and good, especially the cherry almond scones...not bad grilled sandwiches too...a very friendly and welcoming place :-)

I had a tasty cortado and delicious gluten-free cookie here. Nice vibe, bike racing on a big screen, and a great view of the Whatcom Museum. They use Slate coffee.

Nothing like having some delicious food while waiting to get a flat tire on your bike fixed! This was the special of the day - pastrami, pepperoncinis and goat cheese. It was delicious!! Also, great service with getting our bikes fixed!
What a beautiful idea - combine bike repairs and Italian espresso! Well executed. Ambiance: 5 stars Espresso and scones: 5 stars Friendly owners: 5 stars Lots of happy bicyclists hanging and chattering. P.S. They also carry amazing bread made by a local bread fairy.
